Mrs. Susan Mileski, who has taken a year's leave of absence from teaching English at Roosevelt, will be this year's artist in residence for our classes!
Mrs. Mileski, who has attended many workshops across the country, has graciously agreed to share her expertise and love of photography with Roosevelt photo students.
Her business, Poetic Portraiture, is located in downtown Hudson. She offers unique forms of "photographica" (such as purses with pictures on them) along with standard portrait studio fare.

Schedule of Appearances:
Oct. 4 & 5-
Mrs. Mileski will speak to Photo 2
classes about lighting setup. On
Day 2, students will get to
experiment with some artificial
lighting and ask questions of Mrs.
Mileski.
Oct. 11 & 12-
Mrs. Mileski will be discussing tips
on how to shoot pictures of people
with Photo 1. Shooting a picture of
someone is one thing; shooting a
wonderful photograph or portrait is
another!
